Activating

FFL Tools Complex Manufacturing

Before Complex Manufacturing (CM) can be activated, FFL Tools must be properly configured.  If FFL Tools has not been configured, please go to FFL Tools Help and configure the FFL Tools Installation.  Please read the help topic: Please Read This First! Very Important! before proceeding, to ensure business operations are not interrupted when activating the FFL Tools Complex Manufacturing Add On.
 
Once FFL Tools has been configured, click in the upper left part of the FFL Tools Title Bar.  On the Left hand side of the Options page select the Store Information Tab.
In set the 07 Manufacturer radio button to Yes.  The Manufacturing Notice will display.  (Note: If 07 Manufacturer was already set to Yes, this notification will be on the screen already)
Click and the dialog will be displayed.  Click to display the Manufacturing tab .
 
Click OFF on the  switch to turn on Complex manufacturing in evaluation mode.  When this is done a blank manufacturing database is created on the system, and the Manufacturing Store Information is populated with information from Store Info.

By default this switch will be in the OFF mode, clicking OFF will turn in On.

Manufacturing FFL #

2. Manufacturing FFL #
This is the FFL number used for manufacturing operations.  Some FFL Holders have an 01 FFL for retail operations and an 07 FFL for manufacturing operations.  FFL Tools Complex Manufacturing supports using multiple licenses.

EIN

The EIN, or Employer Identification Number is used when the Yearly Manufacturing Report (5300-11) is generated.

Trade Name

This is the Trade Name or License Holder Name that is defined on the FFL

Street Address 1

The street address that is defined on the FFL

Street Address 2

This is an optional field to record additional address information.

City as defined on the FFL

State

Abbreviation for State as defined on the FFL

Zip Code

9. Zip Code
Zip Code as defined on the FFL.  The field will accept XXXXX-XXXX formatted zip codes.

Outside Processes

When checked the three Outside process modules become available.  is used to create and edit Outside Processors and Processes. is used to send serialized items to outside processors, and to receive items coming back from an outside processor.

Used to save any changes made to Manufacturing Store Information.

User Drop Down

12. User Drop Down
Use this dropdown to select a user within the system to add or remove permissions for different manufacturing modules.  Permissions work in the same manner as FFL Tools.

Purchase Button

13. Purchase Button
Use the purchase button to purchase a Complex Manufacturing Site License for the FFL Tools installation.  The base cost is $200.00 which includes one year of support.  The charge can be $160 - $200 depending on your current FFL Tools Support contract.  Prorating the support portion of Complex Manufacturing allows for a once a year payment for support by aligning all Maintenance expiration dates to be the same.  Adding manufacturing will add $40.00 to the yearly support fee for FFL Tools. The Complex Manufacturing Add On will be enabled for all of your licensed instances of FFL Tools.
 
Once Manufacturing options have been saved and Options closed, the Manufacturing Tools Tab will be displayed.
